when katie said "steel my heart to her crying." I think it ment that even thought katie hated seeing her sister in pain by her own hands she had to do it becouse she wanted lynn to get better than die and the only way was to make her suffer from the pills. Somtimes my mum has to get mad at me and my sister when really she acually hates it a lot. even thought she really hates it she dose it anyway so that in the future we can be better childs. Also another really big thing is that my dad has to go to Nigeria to supply money for the rest of the family even thought he hates making me and the rest of my family really sad he still does his job there for us and other people. these are examples of "steeling my heart to her crying." becouse they are doing somthing bad to us but in the end will do a lot of good to us.

my dads theme
My dad has a very important theme because he has to solve really hard dillemas on a daily basis. He is a very fun guy who always looks on the bright side of things. Another reason he is a fun guy is that he dosent really mind what other people think and just does the things he thinks are right. He also helps out people at his job because he is the ambassador for Palestine. Even though he has a very important job he still makes time for having fun. Thats why i think he has a very important theme.

Kira Kira Chapter 11 Response
In this chapter, the first thing that happened was that Katie and Sammy went to live with their dad in the hatchery for a couple of days while Lynn was in hospital. They had lots of fun there, because they got to see the chicks and everything. They also did stuff for the sexers, like bringing them coffee or lighting them cigarettes. One night there was a storm in the hatchery and there was no power, so after a while Mr Lyndon sent a sherrif to fix the generator. After a few days, Lynn came back home and she was still really sick - she just stayed in bed and Katie was reading an encyclopedia to her. One day Katie decided to steal some beautiful nailpolish for Lynn, so she went to the store. She was nearly caught, because a hand grabbed her arm, but she ran away. After that, the shop owner came to Katie's mum and Katie was in trouble. At the very end of the chapter, Lynn wasn't so fascinated by the sky.

Arunta blog
One fact I have learned about the Aruna aborigines is that they live in a extremely different way to us. They Live in a very harsh climate with a very hot summer and a pretty cold winter (especially at night). They are located in the middle of the australian desert which is basically in the middle of australia. I think that it is really interesting how even though they live in a third world country but still they chose to live in the way that they lived before other people came and populated Australia.

Over the generations I think that adolescence has gotten more difficult and less difficult over the years. In a way adolescence was a bit easier because they had so much freedom and did not had to worry so much about bad people as we have to today. Also in a way i think it is more easier today because kids are not so shy. Nowadays there are much more outgoing and do a lot of stuff with there friends. Also we have more technology like MSN or phones to get in touch with our friends. Back then they had to make appointments at school and stuff like that. Thats why i think that it was easy then and now.

FRIM trip
For me the FRIM trip was really fun. I really enjoyed camping out with my friends and doing activities like hiking. For me one of the challenges were trying not to get dirty so that you are not uncomfortable. the social side for me was good. I think that me and my friends got along well and I made a lot of new jokes with people. Sometimes it got difficult having a really small tent to fit both me and my stuff and my friend and his stuff. Well I really liked the canopy walk because I love being in heights and I loved the thrill of it as well. I didn't really like how there was a mile and a half walk up because it was quite tiring. For me FRIM was a good a experience.

Kira Kira Chapter 3 Responce
Kira Kira chapter 3 response
In chapter 3 At the beggining they where leaving for their trip from Iowa to Georgia. Lynn and Katie where very sad about this and they are also in a new and frightening enviorment. They are different from the whites and dont know how they will be treated, not many people are japenese in Georgia. When they first arrive, they dont know how to act like instead of eating at restaurants they take thier food to go, this is because signs at the restaurant it read "for whites" and "for blacks" their was no place for them. Thier was a lady at thier apartment building, she was white, and being very mean to Katie like putting her on the spot and scaring her. This made Katie very uncomfortable. The girls uncle was always trying to beat Lynn at chess and Lynn somehow always won, she was also very fast at moving her chess pieces. The Uncle even locked himself in the bathroom at night just to practice his chess. I felt this chapter was sad when the white people treated the girls differently because of thier race, and it was surprising that the girls uncle was so jelous of Lynn. Overall this was a pretty good chapter.
